Leh Tour with Rafting (05 Nights 06 Days)
Ladakh's rivers offer some of the best white - water rafting and kayaking in India. Indus river offers most popular day trips from Phey to Nimoo (also known as Nimo and Nimu). Consisiting of gentle river rafting. This route passes through outsanding beautiful mountains. Starting from Phey Village, about 12 kms from Leh and ends at Indus - Zanskar confluence at Nimoo.
Day 01: Flight to Leh
Arrive Leh airport, transfer to hotel. Full day rest for acclimatize you with the rarified air and altitude of Ladakh. Late afternoon, enjoy hiking around Leh market. Overnight at hotel In Leh. (3500m)
Day 02: Leh (Full day excursion in and around Leh)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Stok via crossing of Indus River at Choglamsar. Visit Stok Royal Palace.
After then drive Thiksey village to visit the picturesque monastery. Later drive back to Leh. Post Lunch, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Drive Leh-Phey (rafting point) – Pick-up from Nimo then drive Nimoo - Magnetic Hill- Hall of Fame - Leh
Post breakfast, you drive on Leh - Srinagar highway to Phey (14km) from where you raft in Indus river (Optional). Arrive Phey, few minutes for briefing then enjoy the ultimate rafting in gentle Indus. The rapid of Indus is less as compare to Zanskar River. Enjoy the rafting in Indus of lifetime experience. The Indus passes through stunning gorges, enchanting landscapes surrounded by magnificent huge towering mountains. It takes two and half hours to reach at Nimo where you find confluence of Zanskar and Indus River. Arrive Nimo, drive to back to Leh.(35km) via visiting Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib (Gurudwara) and Hall of Fame. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 04: Drive Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh (170 kms one way)
Early morning drive to Pangong Lake 170 km from Leh. Today you cross Chang-la (The world's third highest motorable road in the world 5360 m). On the way, you enjoy awe inspiring amazing view of charming villages, beautiful mountains, animals like Yaks and marmots, nomads and Chanthang valley. Arrive at Lake, the Lake is 136 km long and 5-10km wide, 47% of this lake is in India and rest is in Tibet. The view of lake is spectacular and breathtaking. Spend few hours there while overwhelming, captivating the beauty of nature and later on drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel in Leh. (3500m)
Day 05: Drive Leh - Khardung-La top (5602 m) - Leh (39 kms one way)
Post breakfast, drive to khardung-La top (world's highest motorable pass -18380ft). En route awesome and spectacular view of Indus valley, high snow clad peaks of Greater Himalaya. Later drive back to Leh. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 06: Flight Leh – Delhi
Early morning transfer to airport to fly back to Delhi with sweet memories of Ladakh.
